Why this site exists

The facts that decide which water system someone needs are public, numeric and geographic: EPA Consumer Confidence Reports, USGS hardness data, NSF/ANSI standard scopes, manufacturer specifications. Nobody has assembled them into something that answers the question. We are assembling them.
